Dear Fana Members / Guests 

The golf course is open for the 2024 season tomorrow Tuesday 23rd April. The greens this season coming out of the very harsh winter have struggled with many greens losing grass coverage. Warmer temperatures and longer days are arriving with us very soon, which will help recovery on greens. Please bear with us during this transition period from winter through into Spring, we will as always continue to endeavour to present the golf course and greens in the best possible condition each day.

On opening, a number of tees will be played from a platform during the following weeks, these are holes 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,11,14,16,17. On hole 13 the 51 Tee will be on the 48 floating platform.

During the winter drainage has been installed on holes 1, 7, 10, 12, 16, & 18, these areas as well as the open projects at hole 5 and hole 8 are all GUR. 

The sun will be shining, and we from the Greenkeeping Team wish all Fana members and guests a fantastic season ahead.
